Hi all. :) Not sure if this is the right place for this sort of question, but hey, what the heck? I've been dating a woman for more intimate encounter, Colorado Springs than a year now. It's been a bit on and off; some weeks, she's very much into "us," and some weeks she's totally focused on her school, her career, etc. She's a student at a local university. She's not from here, and once she graduates at the end of this semester, she's not staying here; she's already accepted a position hundreds of away. We've had the "future" discussion more than once. It always ends with her becoming mad at me for a couple of weeks, and a significant decrease in the amount of time we spend together. I was born and raised here, and I cannot leave here for another two years while I finish an educational goal of my own. Staying another two years and then moving away together is not an option for her; she is very focused on her career. I have come to her very, very much. But I have accepted the inevitability of what the next two months bring (and, as a result of my attitude adjustment, have had a couple of really great weeks with her so far.) It's not realistic to think that she "wait" for me until I can finish up here and move to join her. Any of you out there have some advice for me? :) Any ideas to make the last two months of our relationship great, so as to ensure that things finish off on a high note? And what does a give for Christmas to a woman he loves so deeply, but never again? :(
